Ticket types: advance, door, and torioki
TL;DR: Learn the differences between advance tickets, same-day tickets, and will-call reservations.
Ticket terms can be confusing if you are new to Japanese livehouses. This guide explains the common ticket types and how to confirm entry order.
Advance tickets
Advance tickets (maeuri) are sold online or by the organizer. They often include a ticket number for entry order.
Same-day tickets
Same-day (tojitsu) tickets are sold at the door if capacity allows. Arrive early to improve your chances.
Torioki reservations
Torioki is a will-call reservation. You email or DM the organizer and pay in cash at the door.
