Live houses compared: lockers, re-entry, smoking and stairs

Lockers, re-entry, smoking and stairs differ from venue to venue, and many of the venue websites compared here don't state them. In the comparison below, the three Osaka venues' FAQs say the most: coin lockers at the entrance, re-entry not allowed in principle, and stairs only. Rules can change by show, so check the venue's official page and the event post before you go.

Why compare venues on these four things?

They shape your night before the music starts. A locker decides what you can carry. Re-entry decides whether you can step out for air. Smoking rules matter if you want to smoke, or want to avoid smoke. Stairs matter if you carry heavy bags or have limited mobility. Among the venues below, only the Osaka FAQs cover all four, so this page puts the official facts side by side.

When can the table be wrong for your night?

  • The show sets its own rules. The Osaka FAQs allow exceptions by show. DaisyBar's cloak runs only at some shows. Read the event post too.
  • Official pages can disagree. 440's access page gives two different floors. Zeela's access page and FAQ give different floors. VARON's FAQ is unclear on smoking. We left those values out.
  • Some facts come from a single event page. Nine Spices' lockers and smoking area are from a January 2026 event page. They may not apply to every show.
  • Rules and prices change. These facts were checked on 15 October 2026. Check the official page before you go.

How do you check a venue before your night?

  1. Find your show on JGIG and open the venue page.
  2. Open the venue's official site. Look for an FAQ, an access page or an information page.
  3. Read the event post for that night. It can change lockers, re-entry or smoking.
  4. If stairs matter to you, read the access page for the floor and any elevator.
  5. On the night, ask at the entrance about lockers and re-entry before the room fills up.

What if you are alone, have no Japanese or cash, or buy at the door?

  • Going alone: A coin locker means you don't have to watch your bag. Where there is none, bring only a small bag.
  • No Japanese: Words to look for: コインロッカー (coin locker), クローク (cloak), 再入場 (re-entry), 喫煙 (smoking), 禁煙 (no smoking), 階段 (stairs) and エレベーター (elevator).
  • No cash: Locker and cloak fees are paid at the venue. Carry coins and small yen notes.
  • Door ticket: Door-ticket holders go in last, so lockers may be full by then. At the three Osaka venues, the FAQ offers a paid cloak when lockers are full.

Medians need at least 5 counted shows (—).

This table compares the venues listed on JGIG that have at least five listed shows (Oct 15, 2026 – Dec 31, 2026). It shows the median total (ticket and drink fee) and other figures for each venue. Venues without enough data are left out. Use it with the tables above to choose a venue that suits your night.

Based on 521 upcoming shows listed on JGIG in Tokyo and Osaka (Oct 15, 2026 – Dec 31, 2026), updated Oct 15, 2026. These numbers describe JGIG's listings, not every live house, and are not a promise of any price. Check the official event page before you go.
