Why look beyond Shimokitazawa?

FEVER gives you a different kind of room, close to Shimokitazawa. It is on the 1st floor, not in a basement. At 300 standing, it is larger than any Shimokitazawa venue JGIG lists. And with three stations on two lines, you can choose the one that suits your route home.

What does FEVER's venue page say?

• The room: A black-box style venue for about 300 people, standing, on the 1st floor of the Shindaita Building.
• The music: A curated lineup, from indie rock to international acts.
• Next door: The café and gallery POPO adjoins the venue.
• Lockers: Coin lockers, with the number varying by event.
• Drink fee: A separate drink fee is required at entry.

How do you pair FEVER with Shimokitazawa?

FEVER is about 10 minutes on foot from Shimokitazawa's West Exit. Around Shimokitazawa Station, JGIG lists BASEMENTBAR, THREE, ERA, SHELTER and CHIKAMICHI. If FEVER has no space on your night, a Shimokitazawa show can be your backup, and the other way round.

How do you get home from Shindaita?

• Keio Inokashira Line: Shindaita Station is right outside the venue. Check the Keio timetable for Shindaita on the day.
• Via Shimokitazawa: From Shimokitazawa, the last direct trains leave at 00:38 for Shinjuku (Odakyu Line) and 00:17 for Shibuya (Keio Inokashira Line). Timetables checked on 15 October 2026.

What should you check before you go?

• The night's music. FEVER's usual range tells you little about one night. Look at the acts listed for your date.
• The total. FEVER's median total is in the JGIG data below. Each show has its own price, so check the show page.
• Changes and sell-outs. Promoters sometimes change times or lineups at short notice, and small shows can sell out.

How do you plan a night at FEVER?

1. Open FEVER's venue page on JGIG and pick a show.
2. Choose your station: Shindaita, Setagaya-Daita or Shimokitazawa.
3. Open the official event page. Check tickets and times.
4. Pick a backup in Shimokitazawa, about 10 minutes away on foot.
5. Decide which train you will take home before the first act.

What if you are alone, have no Japanese or cash, or buy at the door?

• Going alone: Shindaita Station is 30 seconds away, so getting there and back is simple.
• No Japanese: Look for 新代田 (Shindaita) on station signs. The JGIG venue page gives the route in English.
• No cash: The drink fee and coin lockers need yen. Get some before you arrive.
• Door ticket: Door tickets depend on space. With Shimokitazawa close by, keep a backup there.
